After an interesting 2019-20 season dramatically affected by Covid-19, the summer transfer window is now open.

The Premier Leagues 2020-21 season is reported to begin on September 12th, and while teams are busy preparing for the upcoming season, rumours have are also spreading.

Willian is set to join Arsenal by the end of the week, according to a tweet by Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sports.

Willian, who has been playing with Chelsea since the 2013-14 season, also posted a farewell to the team on Sunday.

"The time has now come to move on," Willian wrote on social media.

"...I leave with my head held high, safe in knowledge that I won things here and always did my best in a Chelsea shirt!"

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also close to signing a contract extension with the side, ESPN has reported.

The contract would set Aubameyang up with the club until 2023 with the confirmation potentially coming next week.

Since joining from Dortmund, Aubameyang has scored 70 goals through 109 matches.
