Western Sydney wanderers have bolstered its squad with the signings of Scott Newville and Jacob Pepper.

Neville, who has joined the Wanderers from Newcastle Jets, is a former Australian Under-23 representative.

The 26-year-old was part of Perth Glory's 2012 grand Final side before joining the Jets.

Neville said he is looking forward to playing under coach Tony Popovic.

“I'm really excited and looking forward to the new challenge ahead and can't wait to meet the boys, get started and improve as a player down at Western Sydney,” Neville said.

“The whole club in general is a massive attraction. Wanderers are one of the biggest clubs in Australia and Tony Popovic is one of the best coaches. He is someone I want to work under.

Neville joins Scott Jamieson and Jonathan Aspropotamitis as defensive signings this transfer window.

Pepper has also moved across from Newcastle Jets after five years with the club.

“I'm really excited to be joining the Western Sydney Wanderers, I'm super excited for the challenge and I thank Popa and the club for giving me a chance and I look forward to a successful two years,” Pepper said.

“I've seen how much the Wanderers have grown since formation and the type of club that they've become, that's a factor in me signing – I'm excited to join the hype.

The Wanderers released 10 players at the end of the season, as they look to completely overhaul the playing list, after a disappointing 2014/15 campaign.
