Manchester United has won the Europa League final, with a 2-0 win over Dutch giants, Ajax.

French star, Paul Pogba, opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a long range effort that was helped on its way with a deflection.

Mkhitaryan then doubled the lead in the 48th minute, finishing from close range following a corner.

Manchester's win comes just two days after the city was rocked a bombing at a concert, which saw 22 people killed and 59 people injured.

The win was United's first Europa Cup victory and sends the club into the UEFA Champions League.

United is now only the fifth club to win both the Champions League and the Europa League, joining Ajax, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus.
