Central Coast's Glen Trifiro has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The Mariners revealed the news via a statement on the club's website.

"The Central Coast Mariners wish to advise Members, fans and media that the contract of Glen Trifiro has been terminated by mutual consent," the statement read.

“I've had some great times and amazing experiences at the Central Coast Mariners,” Trifiro said.

“I started as an NYL player back in 2009 and I returned to start my Hyundai A-League career five years later.

“I would like to thank the fans for their support over the years and I wish the players the best of luck for the future."

The 26-year-old made 27 appearances for the Mariners.
