Sydney FC winger Robert Stambolziev has signed a one-year contract extensions with with the club.

The 24-year-old was offered a new contract after an impressive first season with the Sky Blues.

"Sydney FC is a massive club and I'm really pleased to be able to call it home for a further season," Stambolziev said.

"I am really grateful that Graham Arnold and the coaching staff have shown this faith in me and I hope to repay that faith through my performance on the field."

Stambolziev made nine appearances for Sydney this season after signing as an injury replacement for Corey Gameiro.
