Socceroo James Troisi could be on his way back to the A-League.

Fox Sports has reported that Troisi has been released by his club Al-Ittihad and is in talks with several A-League clubs about a possible return home.

Troisi played 29 games for Melbourne Victory during a stint with the A-League in the 2013-14 season, scoring 12 goals.
