Monaco pole sitter, Kimi Raikkonen, who was fourth fastest in the opening ninety minute free practice session in Canada on Friday, topped the timesheets in session two to finish ahead of FP1 ‘s quickest time setter, Lewis Hamilton.
Kimi was the only driver to get under the 1:13 mark with a best time of 1:12.935, two tenths faster than Hamilton's best with Sebastian Vettel a mere fraction of a second further behind in third place overall.
Valtteri Bottas continued his strong running with a fourth placed finish with Max Verstappen rounding out the top five for Red Bull Racing.
It wasn't an easy session for Red Bull however With Daniel suffering an issue with his Renault engine and Max suffering gearbox issues.
The two Haas drivers had their issues with Romain Grosjean getting quite mouthy on the radio, something that is becoming quite the norm for the Frenchman after spinning several times on the famous Gilles Villeneuve Circuit.
Fernando Alonso fared a bit better in the second session, finishing seventh fastest overall.
