Tomorrow Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat will try his hand at the sport of Curling and the Russian driver will hit the ice – not literally we hope – at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi Olympic Park.

The combination of Kvyat, ice and the Russian GP has become something of a tradition, after Daniil played ice hockey in 2015 and then experienced bobsleighing last year.

This time the Formula 1 driver will have a go at Curling. Daniil - on his birthday – will be guided through the finer points of the sport by four players from the Russian women's National Team (Anna Sidorova, Margharita Fomina, Kira Ezekh and Alexandra Raeva).

Will Daniil be swept off his feet, will he remember to let go of the big teapot thingie? It's bound to be a bit of fun before the serious part of the weekend gets underway.
