Former Melbourne City goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne has joined Western Sydney Wanderers.

Redmayne has signed a two year deal with the club, making him a Western Sydney player until at least the end of the 2016/17 season.

The 26-year-old joined Central Coast Mariners as a teenager, before joining the Brisbane Roar, where he won three A-League Championships.

He most recently played for Melbourne City, where he was the No. 1 goal keeper for the majority of his time at the club before he was released at the end of last season.

Western Sydney CEO John Tsatsimas said he was excited by Redmayne's arrival.

“Andrew has a fantastic work ethic and will be a great addition to our squad,” Tsatsimas said.

“He has played at the top level and been in some very successful groups throughout his career and we are excited to start pre-season and get the best out of our players for the coming season.”
