The cases are linked to a holiday in Ibiza, where several PSG players went following the Champions League final defeat.

Rumours swirling that teammates Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes also have contracted the virus.

PSG said on Monday that two unnamed players had reported back with coronavirus symptoms following a holiday.

Brazilian media reports Neymar's nine-year-old son and 55-year-old father, had also tested positive for COVID-19.

Many other French clubs have reported positive tests, including Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, Rennes, Nantes and Montpellier.
