Wellington Phoenix have suffered another injury blow, with confirmation Roy Krishna is facing up to four weeks on the sidelines, while Ben Sigmund has also been ruled out this week's clash with Brisbane Roar after re-injuring his hamstring at training.

The Phoenix are currently without eight first team players in a devastating injury crisis, coupled with the suspensions of Manny Muscat, Roly Bonevacia and Alex Rodriguez.

"We've been bringing him along very slowly and very progressively but without overdoing it. But as soon as he went into a game, it pulled again," coach Ernie Merrick said of Ben Sigmund.

"It looks like it's going to be a long-term injury - I feel for Ben."

The Phoenix tackle the top placed Brisbane Roar on Sunday at Westpac Stadium.
