Aaron Mooy has been nominated for the Asian International Player of the Year award.
As expected he will have to beat Tottenham's Son Heung-Min and Borussia Dortmund's Shinji Kagawa to claim the coveted accolade.
Mooy had a key hand in helping the Socceroos qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and also in helping Huddersfield gain promotion to the Premier League for the first time in the club's history.
While his Socceroos future is still in doubt, Ange Postecoglou has been nominated for Asian Coach of the Year, along with Japanese duo Ishii Masatada and Takafumi Hori.
Star Matildas player Samantha Kerr has also been nominated for the top AFC's Woman's award alongside South Korea's Sung Hyang Sim and Japan's Kumagai Saki.
The winners are set to be announced on November 29th.
