Despite being anchored to the bottom of the A-League table, Central Coast is set to give Tony Walmsley a contract extension.
It is understood Walmsley will sign a one-year contract extension, despite just three wins from 22 games this season.
The Mariners have also conceded a mammoth 52 goals this season, 10 more than ninth placed Wellington Phoenix.
Walmsley was named head coach of the Mariners in April last year, after Phil Moss was given the sack in early March after just five wins during the 2014-15 campaign.
