Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been ruled out for three months.

Nasri has not played since City's 5-1 win over Bournemouth on October 17 due to a hamstring injury.

Nasri posted a picture of himself with crutches via his Instagram account and confirmed that he will miss a further three months due to the injury, with the caption, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I will be back better than ever see you in 3 months".

Nasri has made eight appearances for City this season, scoring one goal.
