Adelaide's Iacopo La Rocca has copped a three-game ban from the Match Review Panel.
La Rocca was found guilty of violent conduct after appearing to elbow Sydney FC striker Matt Simon during Adelaide's clash with the Sky Blues on Friday night.
The MRP ruled La Rocca should serve the mandatory one-game suspension, plus two extra games.
He will miss matches against Central Coast, Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar.
