Liverpool has beaten Bournemouth 1-0 in the fourth round of the League Cup to hand Jurgen Klopp his first win as manager.

Nathaniel Clyne scored the winner on 17 minutes, finishing off from close range after Joao Teixeira’s improvised effort was cleared off the line.

Bournemouth had several opportunities to get on the scoresheet throughout the game, with Adam Bogdan forced into three fine saves from Cherries forward Junior Stanislas.
