Joe Hart's Torino debut didn't get off to the greatest of starts, as the Englishman's mistake helped Atalanta to a 2-1 win.

Torino scored first through Iago Falque nine minutes into the second half, but just two minutes later Hart would commit an error that gifted the home side a way back into the contest.

Hart misjudged a deep corner and made a mess of his clearance, tapping the ball into the path of Andrea Masiello.

Masiello struck home the equaliser, and Atalanta completed the comeback in the 82nd minute when Franck Kessie beat Hart from the penalty spot.

“I am not angry with Hart,” said Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic on the incident.

“It was personal mistake and this is normal during a match. He did not deal with the corner that well but this is football. No problem.

“He still had a good match and he made a good save in the first half.

“In general, I am angry when the team don't listen to my tactics. I know - I was a player – that individual errors happen.”
