Another Premier League club has broken their club-record transfer fee, as Hull City have signed Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason.

The Tigers did not disclose the fee for the 25-year-old, although it's in excess of the £10 million they paid for previous record signing Abel Hernandez in 2014.

Mason signed a three-year deal on Tuesday, and is excited for a fresh start.

“I'm delighted and excited to be here,” Mason said in an article on the Hull website.

“I can't wait to get started and I see this as a massive opportunity for me.”

Hull made two other signings on Tuesday along with Mason, bringing David Marshall and Will Keane to the club.

Marshall makes the switch from Cardiff City, while Keane moved from Manchester United to join the Tigers.
