Former Socceroo Brett Holman is considering a move to the A-League, 14 years after he left Australia to pursue a career in Europe.

The 31-year-old forward has been playing in the UAE since 2013, but is believed to have made it known to several A-League clubs that he is likely to leave the Midle East later this year.

Holman was given his international debut by Graham Arnold against Bahrain in 2006, and played with Roar coach John Aloisi in 2007 at the Asian Cup.
