Erling Haaland is made of different stuff and is quickly becoming arguably the worlds best goal-scorer.

The Norwegian striker now has 20 goals in only 14 UEFA Champions League games, to put that into perspective, it took Lionel Messi 40 games and Cristiano Ronaldo 56 games to reach the same milestone.

No player has reached 20 goals in the UCL faster then Haaland.

Haaland made the move from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund and hit the ground running immediately scoring a hattrick on his debut for the German power club.

Haaland scored twice in the first-leg of the tie against Sevilla before ensuring the Spanish teams exit with another brace.

Former England striker Peter Crouch spoke on BT sport about the incredible record of the 20-year-old.

"His numbers just get better and better, and there are no signs of stopping. It looks like a tap-in but it is all about the movement beforehand. He has the pace and movement to get in behind.

"He's world class already,' Crouch said before the game.

"He's a proper number nine and I thought we lost them. He's got everything; pace, power, aggression. I haven't seen this from a player this young ever."

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves said Haaland had a unique mentality when on the pitch.

"He just looks angry the way he plays football, it's like nothing I've ever seen."

Haaland's overall record now stands at an amazing 102 goals from just 147 games and he is generating interest from the English Premier League.

Haaland has been rumoured to be a target of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The pair had worked together at Molde in their native Norway previously and the United manager was keen to sign him as he departed Salzburg.

“You know I can’t speak about Erling because he’s at Borussia Dortmund, and it’s disrespectful to talk too much about it, apart from that I know him and I speak to him. Who wasn’t interested in him a year ago? Everybody would say you would take the best players in the world and Erling is a top player" Solskjaer said recently.

Solskjaer has long been an admirer of Haaland and the striker has said in the past he has an interest in playing in the Premier League.

Manchester City are also reportedly keen on Haaland's services with Pep Guardiola perhaps looking for a replacement for the aging Sergio Aguero.
