Adelaide United's Craig Goodwin has reportedly signed with Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam, according to the Adelaide Advertiser.
The 24-year-old, who last night was awarded the Aurelio Vidmar medal as the club's best player for season 2015-16, has been rewarded for his outstanding form in the A-League and will join the newly promoted club for next season.
“It is an amazing feeling. I'm a bit emotional as well to win such a prestigious award in the year we take home the double,” Goodwin said last night.
“It means so much to me and many thanks to the coaching staff the fans and the players.”
Goodwin will leave Adelaide on Friday.
