Ivan Franjic will miss Friday night's semifinal clash with Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium, coach John van't Schip has confirmed.
Franjic missed last week's 2-0 win over Perth Glory at AAMI Park after injuring his hamstring at training during the week.
Van't Schip said the Socceroo will not return this week, but is a chance should City ready the grand final on May 1st.
"Ivan Franjic is out. He has a slight chance if we get through but he won't play this week," van't Schip said.
He was replaced in last week's side by youngster Paulo Retre, who is likely to start at right back once again.
