Matchday Three kicks off tonight with Tottenham hosting Liverpool. Let's get you up to date with our latest EPL Fantasy Team update.
Last week we signalled out both Lukas Fabianski and Vito Mannone as good picks, but both had average games on Matchday two with both keepers conceding two goals.
This week, you could take a gamble and go with Burnley keeper Tom Heaton, who kept a clean sheet in the club's 2-0 win over Liverpool last week. With that being said, they travel to Cheslea this week, so it might be wise to save Heaton for the following week against Hull City.
Ben Foster has been scoring well for West Brom and he is well priced at the moment at just 4.6 and statistically, the second best performing keeper in the league. They host Hull City this week, which would represent a good buy for Matchday three.
All the big clubs apart from Tottenham and Liverpool have relatively easy matches, so a top range keeper would also serve you well for this week.
We mentioned James Collins last week. Scored against Chelsea and then followed that up with a clean sheet performance against Bournemouth. He's a bargin 4.6 but keep note that they do play Manchester City this week.
Luke Shaw has been in great form since returning from injury and a favourable trip to Hull City should see him pick up points. Good pick for a left-back. On the flip side, Hull's Curtis Davies has also been scoring well so a draw with these two players in your team would represent a good week in terms of points.
Possibly the leagues best right-back, Hector Bellerin returned to form last week in a draw with Leicester and a trip to Watford may see him follow that up with a good performance. Tottenham's Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld are good bets with a potential cagey match ensuing against Liverpool tonight.
For me Victor Wanyama is a must. He only costs 5.1 and has started his Tottenham career in very good fashion. Scored 13 points last week and there's a good possibility he'll follow that up again this week. He generally performs well against Liverpool.
I mentioned Etienne Capoue in last week's article and I hope you all picked him as he scored a cracker against Chelsea. A defensive midfielder in rare scoring form is a absolute steal and I'd get him in soon before his price rises.
Antonio from West Ham is good option as is Gareth Barry who is leading an Everton resurgence of sorts so far this season. Star player from week one Philippe Coutinho had a quite week against Burnley. I wouldn't pick him this week as he is a uncertainty to start. Best save him for after the International break.
Alvaro Negredo has returned to the Premier League in form and followed a week one goal up with an assist in last week's derby win over Sunderland. They face West Brom this week, chances of him scoring are quite high.
Ibrahimovic is a fortune but a reliable one. Three goals in two games makes the price 11.7 worth while if he can keep his form up. Sergio Aguero is also in brilliant form for City, following up a hat-trick in the Champions League Play-off with two against Stoke last week.
Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea is a decent option, as is Abel Hernandez from Hull if you're looking to save money.
That's it for this week. Remember the International Break takes place after this weekend and the EPL will return on September 10. Good luck to all!
