The semifinals of the English Football League Cup have been confirmed, following the completion of the quarterfinals on Thursday morning AEDT.
Liverpool and Manchester United still the face the possibility of facing off in the final, with the two sides kept apart in the semifinal draw.
United will face Hull City in the two-legged semifinal tie, while Liverpool will play Southampton, who shocked Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates overnight.
The first legs of the ties will be played on January 11, while the second legs will be played on January 25.
