Perth Glory's Diego Castro has won the Johnny Warren medal for the A-League player of the year, just ahead of Socceroo Aaron Mooy at last night's Dolan Warren Awards night.
Melbourne City had two players inside the top three, with Bruno Fonaroli finishing third, a further six points behind Mooy.
Adelaide United manager Guillermo Amor won coach of the year, City's Thomas Sorensen was awarded the goalkeeper of the year and Jamie Maclaren was named young player of the year.
Meanwhile, in the W-League, Canberra United's Ashleigh Sykes won the Julie Dolan Medal for the player of the year.
