Tim Cahill went to England to make his football dream come true, his son Kyah is now following in his footsteps.

Kyah spent time at Macclesfield Town in the UK and is now continuing his journey in Spain.

Tim spent over a decade in Europe playing for Millwall then Everton, Kyan is looking to establish his own path to a professional career abroad.

Cahill confirmed Kyah had signed for the Under-18s academy at Leganes, a second-division outfit that was relegated from La Liga last season.

“So proud of my son for always doing the small things right and working tirelessly to understand the dedication to get to where he is today.” Cahill tweeted.

Kyah, 17, confirmed the news on his Instagram

“Dream come true. Very emotional but happy day to sign an academy u/18s contract @cdleganes … now time to prove myself.”

Tim Cahill’s 15-year-old son, Shae, is also following in his fathers footsteps playing for the Youth team at Everton .
