Liverpool have accepted a $6 million bid from Bournemouth for the services of highly touted Australian left-back, Brad Smith.

However, the 22-year-old is yet to agree personal terms with the Cherries and is still training with the Reds in the US as part of their American tour.

He is the second Liverpool player to sign for Bournemouth this transfer season, with winger Jordan Ibe recently joining the club for $15 million.

The move will allow the youngster a greater chance at regular Premier League opportunities, as Smith joins a young team on the rise.

Since making his debut with Liverpool back in 2013, Smith has made just 11 appearances for the Reds in a fleeting Premier League career.

He scored his only professional goal for Liverpool against Exeter City in the third round of the 2016 FA Cup.

The Australian international is a graduate of Liverpool's world renowned academy, after initially signing for the club as a 16-year-old back in 2010.
