The FIFA World Cup qualifiers are set to continue with Australia finally returning to home soil as they take on Saudi Arabia. Here is the ultimate guide to live streaming the match online, watching it on TV, and all the other facts you need to know.

The match is scheduled to get underway on Thursday, November 11 at 8:10pm (AEDT) and will be played at Commbank Stadium in Parramatta.

It’s been over two years since Australia last played a home match, with travel restrictions, border closures and global football policy in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic making it impossible for the Socceroos to host any matches.

Where are the qualifiers up to?

Australia will look to continue their sparkling qualifying form with a return home. They had won all of their first three matches, although that run came to an end last time out when they lost 2-1 away from home to Japan.

Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, are undefeated in the third round of qualification, beating China 3-2 in their last match.

Who are the favourites?

It’s hard to go past Australia in this one. While the Saudi team sit at the top of Group B, Australia have home ground advantage and have been in excellent form over the long-term.

A return home in front of a football-starved packed house should be enough for the Socceroos to get the job done this time around.

The top two teams from the group will directly progress to the FIFA World Cup in this third round, with Saudi Arabia sitting three points ahead of Australia at the top of the group with all teams having completed four matches.

Oman and Japan are on six points in Group B, three behind Australia.
