Get ready for a football carnival as a bold plan by Football Federation Australia announces its plans to resume the A-League season, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The bold plan to get the league back in action would see the remainder of the season resuming on July 18 with the grand final being hosted on August 22.

With this in mind, it sets up a wild time for the sport and the league as it would see a whopping 32 games being played in just 36 days, including the remaining 27 fixtures plus the five finals games.

The remainder of the league will be played in just a single hub with either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane hosting the rest of the A-League fixtures.

However, there are two obstacles facing the return of the A-League as host broadcaster Fox Sports needing to sign off as well as the players association agreeing on a pay deal to the players and clubs.
